I've found a cool SGML Validator plug-in for Firefox. It currently works up to Firefox 3.5, so it should work for you (That's if you are using Firefox).

If a site is valid, it gives you a green check mark on the bottom right-hand corner, and if the site doesn't validate, then the plug-in gives you a red 'X' on the bottom right-hand corner. To show you what I mean:

You can download the plug-in, at the Mozilla Firefox Plug-In Center or at the plug-in's designated site.

This plug-in/add-on is good for web developers create valid web pages without having to go to http://validator.w3.org, makes your developing time efficient and effective.

This is also included in the Firefox Web Developer toolbar (which I just now found out such a thing existed)! What a great tool!

Really? I couldn't find that in the feature list anywhere... I guess the only way to find out is to actually download it and try it out :) Sounds pretty good though.

I am definitely getting it as I am about to start learning JavaScript... I really need it :D Thanks for pointing that out to me. I didn't see that in any feature list... on the site or the Mozilla page on it..

I just downloaded the Web Developer toolbar and it looks good... all the functions seem to be everything I would need :)

And since I just got a newer faster computer than I had before, I have time to use the longer HTML Validator, but I'll still keep this one as well, since this one is instant and I don't have to click any buttons to use the validator. Thanks for pointing it out though :)

This validator isn't compatible with Firefox 3.6 :(

Oh well, Web Developer for rescue :)
